A fundraising entity of King’s School Rochester to support Roffensians past, present and future.

"The role of the Roffensian Foundation is a significant one in the life of this School. Our Development Office will work closely with the Senior Management Team, Governors, alumni and friends to consider and implement our fundraising programmes for transformational bursaries as well as key aspects of the School’s estate and facilities".

Our Values

The continuous evolution of King’s School Rochester, maintaining the School’s sustainability for current and future pupils through bursaries and building development.

Enabling financial support from the King’s community of alumni, parents and supporters through donations and legacies. With the charitable support of our community, King’s School Rochester has a history of helping children to reach their potential, since our foundation in 604 AD.

 The funds raised will be allocated to:

 ●Bursaries to support children for whom an education at King’s provides a truly transformational life opportunity.

 ●Our specific building development plan.

 ●Other projects which the Principal and Governors may identify.

Our Strategy

 ●Create a philanthropic mechanism for funding new School buildings and facilities used for co-curricular, sports and academic activities.

 ●Welcome different forms of support to be donated, ensuring the community feels they can contribute to the Foundation both in “cash and kind”.

 ●Will create a long-term investment strategy to support these targets, which encourages assistance through a variety of means, including legacies, deposit retention, significant regular and ad-hoc contributions.

Our Objectives

 ●Support new and existing families for pupils to enjoy an education at King’s School Rochester, which, due to circumstances, might not be possible.

 ● Enable the fulfilment of projects identified by the Principal and Governors.

 ● Allow our supporters, Old Roffensians, and their families to enjoy special events staged by the School, along with witnessing the achievements of our pupils.

 ● Facilitate the sharing of careers experiences and information to the wider King’s community, to help support pupils in their life after King’s.

 ● Recognise all supporters of The Roffensian Foundation through the school’s media campaigns, along with permanent displays across the estate.

 ● Launch a range of publications and memorabilia associated with King’s School Rochester to raise money for The Roffensian Foundation.
