Old Roffensian Society

The Old Roffensian Society was set up in 1889 to keep in contact with pupils who left King's School Rochester.

One of our key aims is to assist the School of today and tomorrow, providing funding to support the School and its pupils for a variety of initiatives such as overseas sports tours, lighting and sound equipment in School Hall, playground equipment, provision of careers advice and training to members of the sixth form, and awarding grants to pupils leaving King’s for their firs year of further education.

The Society, with support from the School, arranges regular sports fixtures between OR teams and the School, events and dinners. OR's are warmly welcomed back to School to attend the various events held throughout the year, whether that be musical, theatrical or a sporting fixture, there is always a place for you to return to.

Your membership also helps the Society to donate to local charities working in the Medway area, and to support the School in their charitable fundraising events.

For an annual subscription, or a one-off lifetime membership payment, members of the Old Roffensian Society receive exclusive invitations to events at the School and the annual members dinner, you will also receive the Old Roffensian magazine as part of your membership.  As a life member, you will also be entitled to a membership of the Kings School Rochester Sports Centre, allowing access to the facilities 362 days of the year.
