Dear Old Roffensians

I am deeply saddened to inform you of the news Natalie Gould, passed away in hospital on Friday afternoon, having been admitted earlier in the week.

Natalie had worked as a teacher at King’s for over a decade in the Geography Department and also led the EPQ. She ran our provision for HANDS and Enrichment in the recent past and she was an avid supporter of Whiston as a Form Tutor. Her husband, Ian, was a one time member of the Estates team and their children are current pupils in UV and Yr 7 respectively. King’s is a family affair for them and they are very much part of our family.

In the context of my recent communications, this news is unbearably difficult to process and I know that this will affect many of us.

I know that we all hold the Gould family in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time for them and our school.

With my best wishes

Ben Charles BPC

Principal; Headmaster of the Senior School
