In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen celebrated 70 years of service. It was a day of celebrations at King's as we marked the Queen's historic reign.
Our day was full of activities around the School. The day began with a Whol School Service under the remarkable Gaia Exhibit in Rochester Cathedral. The Dean of Rochester led the school with prayer and at lunchtime, the school enjoyed our ''Under The Earth'' concert. The performance by our scholars was outstanding.
On The Paddock once again, the whole school shared a prayer to mark this special occasion, witnessed the raising of the flag and enjoyed some tea and cakes. Cadets from the CCF then performed a spectacular display where they formed a large 70 across the playing field.
It was a lovely day to express thankfulness for the Queen's reign, loyalty and service.
We awoke to a rather autumnal day, but quickly King's got into action with the objective of welcoming back its former pupils and the parents of today.… More...
