NASA’s Apollo Moon Programme has been called the last optimistic act of the 20th Century. Twelve men made the longest and most eccentric of all journeys and all were indelibly marked by it. Seen through the eyes of the men and their families, Edward’s dramatic musical re-telling of the Apollo programme reveals the human side to making history - from the families left behind to the men who struggled to return to earth. What a perfect moment for us to reflect on mans’ first journey to the moon as we prepare after 50 years to return.
